Project Story
Overview
During SNEC 2026 week in Shanghai, GCL Integration hosted “Designing a Smart Ecosystem, Paving a Green Path”, an immersive ecosystem experience that brought together sustainability, mobility, automation, AI interaction, and brand storytelling.
Located along the Huangpu River with the Shanghai skyline as its backdrop, the event transformed a rooftop venue into a platform for ecosystem collaboration, partner engagement, and future-focused conversations.
Rather than creating another traditional exhibition environment, the project demonstrated how brands can build meaningful experiences beyond the exhibition hall.
Challenge
SNEC is one of the world's largest renewable energy exhibitions, creating intense competition for audience attention.
GCL Integration sought to create a differentiated experience outside the exhibition environment that would strengthen partner relationships, showcase ecosystem collaboration, and communicate a broader vision for the future of sustainable development.
The challenge was to connect multiple industries, technologies, and stakeholders through a unified experience rather than a conventional product presentation.
Solution
AXISWEAVE developed an immersive ecosystem experience built around the concept of sustainability-driven collaboration.
The experience combined physical installations, interactive technologies, future mobility demonstrations, AI-powered engagement, robotics showcases, and networking environments.
Visitors moved through a carefully designed journey that connected renewable energy, automation, digital technologies, mobility, and consumer experiences into one cohesive ecosystem narrative.
Experience Highlights
Ecosystem Entrance Experience
A multi-layered entrance installation welcomed visitors into the event while showcasing participating ecosystem partners.
The arrival sequence established the theme of collaboration and created a strong first impression before guests entered the main experience areas.
Future Mobility Installation
A large-scale future mobility installation became one of the event’s most recognizable visual landmarks.
Combining illuminated architectural forms, mobility-inspired design language, and the Shanghai skyline, the installation symbolized the relationship between renewable energy and future transportation systems.
AI Interaction Experience
Interactive AI experiences demonstrated how intelligent technologies can enhance user engagement and ecosystem connectivity.
These installations encouraged participation while making complex technologies accessible and approachable.
Industrial Robotics Showcase
Robotic demonstrations highlighted the role of automation within future industrial ecosystems.
The experience connected renewable energy development with intelligent manufacturing and advanced industrial technologies.
Ecosystem Partner Activation
Multiple ecosystem partners participated through collaborative installations and interactive brand showcases.
Together, these experiences demonstrated how sustainability is increasingly enabled through cross-industry collaboration.
Networking Lounge
A rooftop networking environment overlooking the Huangpu River created opportunities for informal conversations, business development, and partner engagement throughout the event.
Ecosystem Partners
Participating ecosystem partners included:
- Huawei
- Ant Digital Technologies
- Swire Coca-Cola
- Budweiser China
- CRRC
- TÜV Rheinland
- Stäubli
- SAIC Mobility
- SNEC
- Additional ecosystem collaborators
Outcome
The project successfully transformed a traditional industry gathering into a multi-dimensional ecosystem experience.
By combining sustainability, mobility, AI interaction, automation, and partner collaboration into a single narrative, the event demonstrated how brands can move beyond exhibition halls and create meaningful platforms for engagement.
The experience strengthened GCL Integration's ecosystem positioning while creating memorable interactions for customers, partners, media, and industry stakeholders.
